Had a good overnight stay here

My room (225, an Executive room) was fresh and modern, and was a good size. Large TV with full Sky package, which was great as most hotels only provide Freeview. Comfy bed and pillows. The minibar was stocked but prices for the non-complimentary items are very high. Free safe in the room too.

Holiday Inn, you did us proud

Choosing a venue for your works Christmas night can be a very hit and miss affair. A scruffy worn out venue, worn out and fed up staff, long slow queues at the bar and tepid, congealing food put in front of you. Not so this venue. As soon as we walked in it was Christmas. We had drinks at the bar before being shown to our table in a large room with lots of other tables. Balloons, crackers and a selection of wines were waiting for us, and before we knew it the first of our three course was being served.

Lovely hotel, can’t fault

Lovely hotel, clean room and friendly staff. Reasonably priced too! Thank you :) Would definitely recommend. Room is sizeable, lovely large TV and spacious bathroom. We would come again for sure, do try it out.

Good location and friendly staff

Very convenient location and quiet setting. Excellent staff - all of them. Friendly and helpful. Good selection of wines by the glass. Generous portions of food at dinner. Fairly extensive menu. Bedroom very large and comfortable. Absolutely excellent pressure in the shower. Excellent hair dryer. Not one of those awful attached to the wall dryers but a good quality one. Ironing board, hospitality tray. In fact all of the practical items that makes for a good stay. If the guest has forgotten some essential such as toothpaste or conditioner the hotel can provide.

Brilliant hospitality

Delivered a workshop here. From the offset the welcome and hospitality could not be faulted. The room was a great size, tea/coffee and biscuits/cakes arrived on time and were lovely. The lunch was excellent too. The commissioner was very happy that they had booked this venue and I could not fault it either.

Easy channel crossing hotel

Great for an overnight stay, it’s near (ish) the channel tunnel ,reasonably priced And good prebooking deals available. Good walking in the area and plenty of places to visit locally. Petrol station up the road sells groceries.

Natalie and Kraig's Wedding

What an unbelievable experience. First of all, our wedding coordinator Jennifer from the very beginning, has been very patient with us and very considerate. Kraig and I are very laid back and not stressful characters to deal with. We realise this probably stressed her out more by winging life and taking everything in our stride... We apologise lol. The duty manager Craig was absolutely amazing, went over and beyond to help us, along with all of the waiting staff working that day/night, bar staff and house keepers. Thank you all for being so efficient and accommodating.

Very pleasant stay

Lovely clean and comfortable room, hassle free check in / out. All needs were met. Friendly and helpful staff (especially the blonde lady at breakfast) would definitely stay again, great value for money

Excellent

Room was excellent, really good customer service, not far from town centre, but buses on routes. Very fine dinning, prices not bad for the food being top class.

My wedding was amazing

Thoroughly enjoyed my week-end stay with you. Great hotel friendly and efficient staff I would like to say a special thank you to Cindy and Megan who sorted out the wedding reception room. The room looked great so thanks once again. The buffet was excellent and all the guests enjoyed it.

Truly amazing evening

Just a quick message to thank everyone at the hotel for a truly amazing evening last night. The staff were fantastic as was the food and entertainment. Made even more enjoyable by being able to go to our spacious comfortable room and delicious breakfast. Will definitely be recommending you to all our friends and family. Thank you once again Sarah.

Great Hotel

Great hotel with lovely big stylish rooms and comfy beds. Nice extra touches with complimenry toiletries and easy access to ice machine in corridor, staff very helpful. Quiet hotel overall highly recommended 10/10

Stop over

My partner and I stopped the night on way to Ireland couldn't fault anything everyone helpful and catered for my partners food needs gluten free, on the whole excellent manager very nice staff all good nothing to much trouble loved the tomato and basil soup good choice of food would certainly stay again didn't want to get out of bed so comfortable thanks to all
